What God Said Still Stands
I woke up this morning still thinking about yesterday's sermon.
Not the entire message.
Just one thought.
What God said still stands.
As I sat with that, I realized how often life's circumstances try to convince us that God's word over our lives has changed.
The waiting gets longer.
The path becomes unclear.
The questions seem bigger than the answers we have.
And if we're not careful, we begin placing more weight on what we see than on what God has said.
But God's faithfulness is not measured by my ability to see the outcome.
It is measured by His character.
The Word reminds me.
My own life reminds me.
There have been seasons when I could not see provision, yet provision came.
Times when I could not see a way forward, yet God made a way.
Moments when I questioned the path, only to discover later that God was guiding me all along.
The Word and our past are a testament to God's provision.
Perhaps that is why remembering matters.
Not because we live in yesterday, but because yesterday reminds us who God has been.
And if He has been faithful before, I can trust Him today.
What God said still stands.
Even in the waiting.
Even in the questions.
Even when I do not fully understand.
