The Glory Is Upon Us
We often think of God's glory as something distant, something so magnificent we can only stand back in awe.
But perhaps His glory isn't only found in the moments that leave us speechless.
Perhaps it can also be found in the peace that carried us through a difficult season. In the strength that showed up when we had none left. In the healing still unfolding. In the grace that kept us standing when life should have knocked us down.
"The glory of the Lord is upon us, and His train fills the temple with praise."
His glory upon us might not be an invitation to stand at a distance. It might be an invitation to draw near. To recognize that His presence has been covering us, carrying us, and resting on us all along.
I invite you to pause for a moment and consider where the glory of God has been resting in your life.
What peace has He given?
What strength has He supplied?
What testimony is quietly filling your temple with praise?
Perhaps His glory is closer than you think.
Sip slowly.
